3 Ways to Drive Traffic To Your Website

You’ve got your website setup, ready to receive inquiries from potential clients but traffic is low to non-existent. Well here are 3 ways you can bring in traffic to your website.

PUT YOUR SELF OUT THERE (ON & OFFLINE)

One way to drive traffic to your website is to put yourself out there. No one is going to know you exist unless you do. You can do this by creating and being active on different social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

It’s up to you to see which platform best suits you. Also don’t knock advertising offline. You can use business cards, flyers, networking or depending on your business sign up with a company that refers customers to your business.

CREATE CONTENT

This next way to drive traffic to your website is one of the best and effective ways to bring potential customers to your website: it’s content creation.

Creating content related to the services you provide is the best way to bring in new customers. Doing this shows that you know a lot about your field or industry, and provides customers with a sense of comfort. This comfort leads them to trust you more.

So what does this look like? The content you produce can be done any way you’d like. You can make videos on YouTube, micro blog on Instagram and Facebook, or blog and then share your blog post to your social media accounts.

POST ON THE REGULAR

Lastly, in the online world most people search via Google, Bing, or social media platforms like Facebook or Pinterest. For these places to take notice they need to see consistent marketing from you. That means you need to post regularly to show that you and what you share is relevant to drive traffic to your website.

Now you don’t have to go hard and post every single day. That’s exhausting. But you have to show up in a consistent manner more often than not. So what does that look like?

Well that could look like you posting useful information related to your services twice a week, and at the end of each post refer customers to your services. Ultimately it's up to you how often you post but just do it consistently.

I hope this list helps you start thinking about how to drive traffic to your website. If you don’t have a website or are looking to redesign, check out my services and sign-up for a free discovery call!
